Seth Godin does a fantastic job articulating the problems with PC software these days. In many ways this is a great summary of our motivation for creating Ninite.
The shattered expectations he describes are behind so much of the “This is too good to be true,” or “What’s the catch?” feedback we receive. PC software shouldn’t be like a “sleazy carnival,” and we’re working hard to fix that.
